Tragedy of my Life

No, no – do not expect any stories of heart-breaks here. But what happened was pretty close to it. What happens, when one fine day you decide enough is enough? You have sufficiently evaded you work and must get things back on track! You start with the subject you dislike the most. Because you know you will take maximum time in it. And then you spend the whole day reading three chapters of it. Considering how boring you find it, it is not a bad record.

Just that the next day, when you pick it up, you realize that you were reading the wrong book!!

This is what happened with me today. And the subject was Financial Management, which I have been waiting to get done with even before it had started :((

Tragedy indeed.

  1. Since I am removing the Haloscan Comments, I am copy-pasting the comments I got on this post here.

Let me cry with you. Similar story happened for me too. I had a paper in advance accountancy in MCA course. It was an important subject with 8 credits. And it was juiceless for me. I felt relaxed when it’s exam finished.

Keep chewing ,may you find some som juice in it. Best of luck Jaya !

Gravatar This is totally unrelated to this blog.I was reading your blog of Nov 9 -“Happiness”.You know this is my favourite topic and actually of most of the people.Every single sentient creature of this world is looking for happiness. In fact we can say “Hapiness is the only goal of our life”,though different people attach different criteria for achieving that end.Name ,fame,Richness,Skill,Power,Position,Posessions all these are mere means to achieve that end -“Happiness”.Great people remain happy Just like that ,without any reason. If we can get that skill or simplicity to remain happy without any reason ,Life and this whole world and its mysteries will unfold its beauty and vastness for us -This is what great ones say.
I agree with your view that there is no fixed criteria to judge it.Happiness is something internal ,we don’t (should not?) need other’s approval for it.

uh…on the front of every book they tend to write some words..these generally tell u what subject it is…try reading that first!

Mr.John Doe: Now you should know better than that. Probably your fellow creatures in this world are not all the stupid Of course, it wasn’t the subject that was different, but the book. Since there are two books of FM with us and the prescribed reading are given as chapter numbers – in some confusion I read the chapters with those numbers from the other book.

    Dear Jaya,

Well reading the wrong chapters of the right book is not a problem at all….look at the positive to come out of it…now you know some material which no one else does 😀
