Our logo is here

We got it designed by pdlogo.com. They have some good affordable packages and did a very good job for us with revisions. The package we had chosen included only three revisions, but they sent us a 4th revision on their own. We hadn’t even asked for it. And they were very approachable and fast with their responses. So – yeah. Yet another recommendation πŸ™‚

  1. Some critical appreciation:
change the font of pothi for two reasons.

    1. Its too common a font
    2. It italicized, where as all the logo is vertical. This spoils the balance.

    I’d suggest a sans-serif font.

  2. We went over several fonts before finalizing on this one. Some fonts looked too plain for our purpose. Some ornamental ones looked too crowded. So, finally we settled on this.

  3. Even I am not too excited with the logo…It is good…But was just expecting a lil more graphically. It makes it look like a website thats gives u lots of gyaan—Indian Wikipedia or something like that. But I am sure u have given it a lot of thought before finalising it.

  4. Hi .. I liked the concept of the portal, thought dont have much of an idea about the logo, but it can be sayed that one will remember it for its simplicity and desi feel, when is the site coming up ??? Again what kind of intended target audience you are hoping for, english & hindi or other regional languages also ?? for regional languages Pothi is a unknown word …..again i wanted a help from your side, will u be able to give me a list of investors who are into investing in web based startups ???? In specific, a portal based on share market, and other web based ideas..

  5. Nice initiative. what are you planning to make pothi different from other self-publishing sites like lulu, frogbooks etc.
