Thousands have said it…

Thousands have said it in past I know,
Yet its new, every time you feel it.
The calm outside, upheavals within,
Burning thing, apparently dimly lit.

Share I must not, for they’ll say,
“That’s how the life is you know”
But it can be different you think
Why must to the fate you bow?

Share I must not, for they’ll say,
“It’s your fault that it is this way.”
Fault or Virtue I don’t know,
When green grass converts into hay.

Thousands have said it in past I know…

  1. Very well written. This reminds me of the struggles that a lot of us have to deal with. We don’t want anyone to know our struggles. We don’t want to show it. But it is apparent that everyone has things to deal with. I have started to write poetry recently and I hope that when people read it, it will help them in some way. Keep up the great poems!
