To have everything?

Is there a theme that has all of the following?

  • Left alignment
  • Search Box
  • Links displayed under the various categories you create through dashboard (many themes do not display these categories)
  • Blogroll and Categories above the archives in the sidebar
  • Display of pages as tabs in the header

The answer seems to be “No”!! 😦

  1. Blogs are supposed to be the hype of today and the rate of growth is phenomenal. But i do have to say there is no perfect platform till now. WordPress has tagging, LJ have reply to the comment feature, 360 has community, categories, templates, search, configurability, readable urls, rss, structured content … none has all of them. It makes me frust at times. Can’t they learn to copy features from each other?

  2. Pffff, do you blog? 😡
Jaya, I did not understand all your requirements. But I am pretty happy with the “Connections” theme that I use, and it seems to have almost all of what you want. However, if you do find a WP theme that u like, yuu could send it as feedback to the team. They really do seem to be reading all mail and collecting most feedback.

  3. Connections does not fulfill third criteria. All the links are displayed under the same category. Meaning, in my current template you can see links under categories like “Blogroll- People”, “Blogroll-Knowledge”, “Other Links I maintain” etc. With this theme (and many others) that disappears and all these links are shown together 😦
