Murphy O Murphy

What a “welcome back” have I received after last one week of holidays 😦

Enter the room, boot your computer to find that the net is not working. Apparently even while switched off, my computer had been clogging the network… Grr…. Do not know what to do with this worderfully efficient (at what??) CC staff. Guess I can not write more. I may run some risk here…

Go to CC to find that GMail account is continuously giving “Server Error” and is asking me to keep my fingers crossed (of all things….) and hope all is well in “few minutes”. To top that I use it as my primary account because IIML server is not realiable. More of Grr…

An hour or so in the CC and those wonderful “few minutes” are not yet over.

Few hours from then, back in CC. “Few minutes” are still not over. Somehow thought of logging in with another id and whoa! It’s working. Only thing is that this account has two mails in total. One a “welcome mail” from Gmail “that is different” and the other that I had sent to a friend acidently from that account around a year back 😦 It seems its a problem with only some of the servers and my primary account happens to be hosted on one such server.

A little Google Search tells me that their past record in terms of solving this problem has not been quite encouraging. And this is the first result when I search for “Server Error” on GMail Help Center.

Now even the Indian Railways site is giving time out error when I am trying to use it to plan a small trip over one of the long weekends 😦

Is any site worth visiting in this world working?
