  1. How do you write devanagari unicode?
I think, you must be using some software. Anyway, if you would like to use phonetic keymap, I discovered a simple way.

I have a file…xmodmap.devanagari. if you want it..tell me. anytime, issue command

    xmodmap pathtofile/xmodmap.devanagari
.and you can start phonetic hindi. to revert back

    setxkbmap -model pc104 -layout us.

and you are back to old! easy, isn’t it?

Your poems level is increasing day by day. I dont read all of them(as I already have better writer like dinakar to read 😉 )..But I get very clear feeling of rise of creativity in you. keep it up!

  2. I use yudit in linux and regional language support in windows. Both are pretty easy to use. Yudit supports three layouts including phonetic and inscript, but I like inscript better. Requires some practice initially, but is ultimately easier to type.

    Thanks anyway 🙂

  3. I have released a software called HindiWriter(it’s free), it lets you type in Hindi in any application without having to remember a new layout. It works with Windows 2000 or XP.

You can get it at: http://devendraparakh.port5.com/

Most people who’ve used it find it very easy and fun. Works with web browsers, Office Apps, Notepad, and Instant Messaging products such as Yahoo Messenger and MSN Messenger.
