JLT (Just Like That!)

Madira peene kee abhilasha
Hi jab ban jaye haala
Adhron kee aaturta mein hee
Jab Aabhashit ho pyala
Lage dhyaan hee karte-karte
Jab Saaki Saakaar Sakhe
Rahe na haala, pyaala, saaki
Tujhe milegi Madhushala

(Madhushala – Dr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan)

(Literal translation – to the extent I could do it)
When the wish to drink itself becomes the wine, when the desperation of lips itself appears to be the wine-glass, when simply by imagining her, the wine-maid turns real; then whether or not there is any wine, wine-glass or wine-maid, my friend, you will get the tavern.
