Does anybody know anything about ISBR, Bangalore? (www.isbr.in) How good is it? A cousin got a call from there and is trying to decide.

Book Binding in Bangalore
Posted by Jaya on April 23, 2007
I am looking for information on
- Where can I buy a book binding machine in Bangalore?
- Where can I find book-binders in Bangalore? Those who work on small scale mostly.
If you’d rather answer it on Yahoo! Answers and earn some point there, here is my question.

Desktop Based To-do List?
Posted by Jaya on January 12, 2007
Can somebody suggest me a free, desktop based To-Do List? Desktop based is important, because I need something that keeps staring at me (yes, yes!) and not something for which I have to remember to go to a website. Also, I do not need anything fancy – simple, light-weight To-Do list that is sitting on my desktop all the time. I used Wallnote, which is a web-based product, but can be displayed on the desktop using active desktop feature of windows. However, I keep switching between wired and wireless network in the office and most of the times do not switch off my laptop between office and home. This change of network etc. creates problems with the web-page disappearing.
I guess you got it now. Any suggestions?

Cursor positioning problem in Firefox
Posted by Jaya on August 5, 2005
I am facing this irritating problem in firefox for quite sometime. While typing in a textbox (like the box for typing post or comment on blogger ), the cursor positions keeps going haywire. Usually it will be little left to where it should be and hence hides the letter I am typing!! Has challanged my vision to quite an extent, because when I think I am deleting ‘a’ of “challanged”, I end up deleting ‘g’ instead. A lot has to work on intuition this way. Once, by itself, the problem had disappeared. I do not remember having done anything to make that happen, but recently I installed windows in a new hard disk I installed, and hence had to reinstall everything. The firefox is giving the same problem again. Did as much googling as I could, but was unable to find any pointer.
Any solutions please!! It’s so irritating to type a post when the cursor potition is bad. Sometimes, two or three last letters typed are not visible at all. Sometimes, even when I press backspace, the letters continue to be visible (though actually they have been deleted and if I post the page as such, you would not see the letters
).
Some help please!!

Any Hacks?
Posted by Jaya on July 3, 2005
Spent almost two hours on this today with no results whasoever…
Ok – what I was trying to achive was a complete list of titles of all the posts on a blog with the titles linking to the posts, of course. This is for the Ghazal Lyrics Blog, where I want myself and readers to be able to view the complete listing at one place.
Now this could be in the form of a post or say a drop-down list in the sidebar.
But closest the blogger hacks come to providing a list of posts are a list on each page of posts on the page. Meaning each archive page can also have a list of the posts on that page, so that you do not have to scroll all the way down to the end of the page to know what all posts are there. Alternatively each archive page can itself be maintained as a list of posts in that archive.
This would bring say monthly listing at one place. However this does not complete serve my purpose as I want a complete listing on one page.
Is there a hack possible?

Desperately Looking for it…
Posted by Jaya on February 6, 2005
Following are two famous lines from the last Mughal Emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar, which is supposed to have been recited by him during his last days in jail in Rangoon -
ग़ाज़ियों में बू रहेगी जब तलक ईमान की,
तख़्त-ए-लंदन तक चलेगी तेग़ हिन्दुस्तान की ।
(So long as warriors are honest, the sword of India would reach upto the throne of London)
Now, this had probably come as a reaction to a couplet that one of the guards of the jail had framed making a mockery of the fight against British. I do not rememeber the whole of it and this is what I am desperately looking for. I am writing below what I remember; if someone could fill up the blanks it would be great.
दमदमे में दम नहीं है ख़ैर माँगो जान की
ऐ ज़फ़र, अब ………. हिन्दुस्तान की ।
Dug google as much as I could…

Reverse the order
Posted by Jaya on July 15, 2004
Hey, can someone tell me if there is a way to reverse the order of the posts in the blog, i.e. the latest one goes at last? If so, please respond back.
