About going abroad and all…

Some of the comments on my previous post about not wanting to live in the US made me think about writing this little disclaimer. I am not xenophobic I have no problems in visiting other countries, meeting people etc. Working and living in the US is not something I would enjoy, but that does not mean I would not welcome the opportunities to travel anywhere in the world. On the contrary I would look forward to doing it. But after every travel, there has to be a home to come back to. And that can only be in India.

Btw, totally off-topic, but I can not hold this any longer. If you have not checked this out, why don’t you take a look at Google News in Hindi?

Google News Hindi has been out for a while now – maybe two weeks?

गूगल समाचार भारत देखा। अच्छी शुरुआत है, लेकिन इण्टरनेट पर हिन्दी अभी काफी पीछे है। 2-3 साल पहले आपका ही ब्लाग पढ कर मैंने हिन्दी में लिखने की शुरुआत की थी। आशा है कि आपकी गूगल हिन्दी का भला करती रहेगी। असली दिक्कत देवनागरी में लिखने में मुश्किल होना है। ब्लॉगर के लिए हिन्दी transliteration देकर गूगल ने बहुत अच्छा किया है, अगर gmail और hindi search पर भी यह टूल मिल जाता तो बहुत अच्छा होता।

Encore..a fit !Whether you stay in IN. or US,dats not news for a commentor like me,or any I guess.Just a matter of choice.You are writing regularly or not dats crux.One of the best blogs till date.By the way good luck for next trip!
